SYNOPSIS

LULLABY TO MY FATHER is Amos Gitai’s homage to his father Munio Weinraub Gitai, who was part of the Bauhaus school until he fled the Nazis and eventually became the father of Israeli architecture. The film is an exploration of the bonds between father and son, architecture and cinema. Companion piece CARMEL is a tapesty of letters written by Gitai’s mother, Efratia, personal reminiscence and Israeli history…
