SYNOPSIS

A chronicle of the ordinary and not-so-ordinary days of the inhabitants of an apartment building located on the outskirts between Tel Aviv and Jaffa. Until now, old man Schwartz enjoyed a peaceful existence with Linda, the young Filipino woman who takes care of him. His neighbors, Aviram, who never goes anywhere without his dog, and divorcée Mali, romantically involved with the younger Ilan, have hardly ever bothered him before. But recently, everything seems to be in disarray. Every day, the building resonates with screaming and shouting. Is it because Hezi secretly rented an apartment to make love to his mistress Gabi and her cries of pleasure can be heard by everyone? Or is it because the new neighbors are determined to expand their apartment into the courtyard without permission? Mali has her own problems too. Their neighbors' illegal Chinese construction workers turn out to have been contracted by her ex-husband Ezra, and to make matters worse, their son Eyal has just deserted his military service...
